Thread lifting
Thread lifting is a progressive minimally invasive method that provides soft tissue tightening and activates skin revitalization processes. The essence of the procedure is the introduction of biologically compatible absorbable threads under the skin of the face or body in certain anatomical areas. They create a dense frame, fix the line of the lower jaw and cheeks and even out the skin. Instead of a scalpel, thin needles are used for the procedure.
Rapid rehabilitation from 5 to 14 days is one of the main advantages of the method, there are no extensive hematomas or long-term deformations. The invasiveness of the method is extremely minimized. The advantage of the procedure is that at the same time the tissue is tightened and the skin becomes elastic, its quality is significantly improved. The effect of skin rejuvenation is achieved due to the material of the threads, because they contain hyaluronic acid, polydioxanone, caprolactone or polylactic acid, all these components activate the process of skin revitalization. It does this by stimulating fibroblasts that promote collagen production.
The result is visible immediately after the procedure. After 2-3 weeks, it manifests itself completely and lasts from 2 to 5 years (everything is individual and depends on the characteristics of the patient’s skin and age).
Thread techniques are suitable for those patients who have decreased skin tone, signs of gravitational tissue ptosis, but no excess skin. Methods are chosen by a specialist always individually, depending on the severity of gravitational ptosis of soft tissues. A thread lift can improve the oval of the face, the neck-chin angle, tighten the neck, raise the eyebrows and overhanging cheeks, improve the skin of the décolleté, neck, arms, intimate area and solve many other problems.
