London Dermatology | 8 July 2024
Details of the speaker lineup at the inaugural Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) Aesthetics Congress event have been announced. The conference will bring together a faculty of international and UK speakers and demonstrators, including South African plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr Des Fernandes, the virtual inventor of modern day microneedling; German cosmetic surgeon Dr Wolfgang Redka Swoboda, an energetic speaker on fillers and filler complications; and dental surgeon Dr Souphi Samizadeh, a leading speaker on non-surgical perioral enhancement.
The organisers have also confirmed that an important announcement related to the medical aesthetics specialty will be unveiled at the event, with more details to be revealed soon.
Congress president and consultant dermatologist Dr Christopher Rowland-Payne says, “The Congress talks on day one and the workshops on day two are all pitched at the advanced level. Everything is aimed at physicians, surgeons and dentists. Talks will be evidence-based and entirely non-promotional. Never before has such an ambitious programme of specialised workshops been put together in Britain.” RSM Aesthetics Congress will be held on September 6 and 7, 2024 at the Royal Society of Medicine in London.
