In order to assess the depth and size of your acne scars, we’ll need to see you in person for a consultation. We use serial microdroplet silicone (SMDS). Silicone is a safe material used as a lubricant in most syringes in all countries. When microdroplets of silicone are injected into the skin, each droplet stimulates the body to provide extra collagen which is long lasting. Silicone microdroplets do not migrate, they remain precisely in place. This technique is particularly useful in the correction of acne scars.

If you are likely to experience some discomfort, we will advise you about that at the consultation stage. We will do everything we can to minimise any pain.
